Navarro County Marijuana Field Found

NAVARRO COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE RELEASE

Monday morning September 19, 2011, acting on information from a concerned citizen Navarro County Sheriff's Deputies decended upon a wooded area south of the Navarro Mills Lake dam. There they located and seized 215 marijuana plants. The plants ranged in size from three feet to ten feet tall. The harvested marijuana had a total weight of approximately 120 pounds with an estimated street value of approximately $100,000.00. Narcotics investigators are continuing to tract leads from evidence recoverd at the scene to identify the owner(s).
