WACO PD RELEASE-PATRICK SWANTON
Based on the follow-up investigation by the Crimes Against Children Unit, a warrant was obtained yesterday afternoon for Jose Luis Garcia for the offense of Aggravated Kidnapping.
This additional charge stems from the incident that occurred on 9-4-2011 where Garcia had forced the 8 year old victim into his apartment located at 1115 N. 12th in Waco, exposed himself to the victim, showed her pornographic material, and offered her money for sex.
Garcia was arrested yesterday evening on the additional charge of Aggravated Kidnapping in jail.
Just learned that the booking form’s arrest location was incorrect on Garcia. He had never bonded out from the original charge and the additional charge of the Aggravated Kidnapping was served on him while he was in the custody of McLennan Co. jail.
