The body of Maria Victoria Serna (29) of San Antonio, TX was found by a citizen who was taking a walk through Bosque Park located in the 6100 block of Airport Dr. around 9:15 am, 07/06/2011. Officers checked the woman and found that she was deceased and appeared to have suffered some type of injury to her head.
Justice of the Peace Billy Martin pronounced the woman dead at 9:40am and ordered her body be sent for autopsy.
Pending the results of the autopsy the cause of death will remain as questionable.
ORIGINAL RELEASE
Officers responded to Bosque Park located in the 6100 block of Airport Dr. around 9:15 am, 07/06/2011 after a citizen found the body of a woman. Officers checked the woman and found that she was deceased and appeared to have suffered some type of injury to her head. The woman was Hispanic and appeared to be in her late 20’s. She was 5’04” to 5’06”, 110 to 120 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. At this time the woman has not been positively identified.

Pending the results of the autopsy the cause of death will remain questionable.
