Outback Meeting Room, Poppa Rollo's Pizza, 703. N. Valley Mills Drive, Waco. She will speak on "How Top Secret America
Misfires." At the time of the 9/11 attacks, Ms. Rowley was an agent in the FBI's Minneapolis Field Office. Prior to the attacks, she tried unsuccessfully to get FBI HQ personnel in Washington to act upon information provided by her office regarding its investigation of Zacarias Moussaoui, who had been suspected of preparing for a suicide-hijacking. Failures identified by Ms. Rowley may have left the U.S. vulnerable to the 9/11 attacks. Ms. Rowley was named a "TIME Person of the Year" in 2002.
