(COPPERAS COVE PD RELEASE)
COPPERAS COVE, TEXAS – On April 7th 2011 at approximately 1624 hrs., the Copperas Cove Fire Department responded to the area of Blue Stem and Lutheran Church Road (Coryell County) in reference to a vehicle fire. It was later determined that the vehicle had lost control and rolled which caused the occupants to be thrown from the vehicle. The unidentified occupants were transported to a local hospital for treatment of possible injuries.
After the fire was distinguished, an unidentified deceased body was found in the trunk of the vehicle. The unidentified body later was transported to the Southwest Institute of Forensic Science in Dallas for an autopsy.
Due to the occupants residing in the city of Copperas Cove, the incident is being further investigated by the Copperas Cove Police Department. Additional information will be released at a later time as it becomes available.
