(From TPD Releases)
In the continuing investigation into these burglaries, Investigators gathered enough evidence to develop a name of the suspect. Investigators reviewed one of the above cases with the Bell County District Attorney’s Office on 3-22-11. That office issued a complaint for Burglary of a Habitation against the suspect, identified through evidence in the investigation as Brandon Lee Breaux, a 27-year-old Temple man.
Justice of the Peace Barfield issued an arrest warrant for that charge, with a suggested bond of $50,000.
On 3-23-11, at about 1:15 pm, Temple Police Detectives and POPS (Problem Oriented Police Service) Officers located Mr. Breaux in the 300 block of South 22nd Street, in Temple. He was arrested without incident, and taken to the Bell County Jail. The investigation into his probable involvement with the other burglaries in the area is ongoing.
