Bellmead Fire Kills Three

Three people are confirmed dead in a mobile home fire in Bellmead. Firefighters were called to the 1100 block of Woodbine off I-35 North about 6:40 clock Wednesday morning. The access road to I-35 was blocked near the 338 mile marker for a time as firefighters worked the blaze. Waco Fire Marshal Jerry Hawk is assisting Bellmead with the investigation of the fire. Justice of Peace David Pareya pronounced the three victims dead at 9:40 this morning. He said the bodies were burned beyong recognition. He ordered the bodies sent to the Southwest Institute for Forensic Science in Dallas for autopsies and for confirmation of identity. All were believed to be adults. An animal also died in the fire.
Update:
Family members have identified those in the mobile home as 23-year-old Karmin Tergerson and her fiance 26-year-old Daryl Farmer and Karmin Tergerson's sister, 17-year-old Samantha. Official identification awaits comletion of forensic work.  While the cause of the fire has not been determined, foul play is not initially suspected. The state fire marshal also had a representative and an accelerant sniffing dog on the scene Wednesday.
