"The Department of Defense is undertaking major efficiency initiatives and it’s our responsibility to ensure that L-3 Platform Integration supports these efforts and remains a market leader by providing aircraft integration services as optimally as possible. Today, we reduced our workforce by approximately 2.5 percent, action that will keep us among the most competitive in our industry and positioned for long-term success."
