I-35 TRAFFIC ADVISORY FOR TEMPLE

On Wednesday, 10/20/2010, from 8 AM - 5 PM:


The left lane of the northbound frontage road of I-35 in Temple, from 1/2 mile south of exit 302 (Nugent Avenue) to 1/2 mile north of the same exit, will be closed. This is to allow for exploratory core drilling along the highway, in preparation for the eventual expansion of I-35 to 4 lanes in each direction through Temple.

The drilling should not affect driving on the mainlanes of I-35, but motorists should be prepared for the closed lane when exiting or entering the highway at exit 302, and while traveling along this part of the frontage road.

Please watch for barricades and workers in the area, and drive cautiously while the work is going on.
