Killeen police say they still have no information on the identity of an Asian woman killed in an auto-pedestrian accident Wednesday morning.
Officers responded to a report of an accident involving a pedestrian and a white SUV in the area of Clairidge and Old FM 440 at 5:37am on Wednesday, August 11, 2010. Upon their arrival they located a female lying in the intersection and a white 2007 Dodge Nitro. The preliminary investigation revealed that the Dodge Nitro was traveling southbound in the 3700 block of old FM 440 when the vehicle collided with a female who was walking in the roadway also facing south in the southbound lane. The driver was unable to see the female at the time of the accident.

The victim has not been identified at this time; she is an adult Asian female with dark hair, approximately 5’0” tall and weighs approximately 100 pounds. She was wearing a white short sleeve shirt, OD green Capri style pants, white tennis shoes and socks. If anyone knows the identity of this female they are asked to contact the Killeen Police Department at 501-8800 immediately.
